The main examination will consist of a test of MCQs of 200 marks. This objective test will be online and will have separate timing for every section.

• There will be a penalty for every wrong answer in the objective tests for the main examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature, .i.e., marks obtained here (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II). The General/Financial Awareness section comprises of 40 questions in the exam of North Central Zone and 50 questions in the other zones. The good thing is that you have got sectional timing in this exam. It happens sometimes that you forget things, events, etc related to Current affairs.
