Some Important points about the exam pattern: • The candidates have to qualify each of the tests
• There will be a penalty for every wrong answer in the objective tests for the main examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature, .i.e., marks obtained here (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II). The General/Financial Awareness section comprises of 40 questions in the exam of North Central Zone and 50 questions in the other zones. The good thing is that you have got sectional timing in this exam. It happens sometimes that you forget things, events, etc related to Current affairs. So, here you have got sufficient time to recall things. if you score very good in this section, you can improve and get a good overall score in the exam and remain ahead of all your competitors.
