The counselling process for the CLAT 2023 is now ongoing in an online centralized system. The candidates must note one thing the CLAT Counselling process will be conducted separately for both UG and PG courses. The entire process will be done as per the official CLAT Exam Date declared by the exam authorities. Here are the detailed steps for the CLAT Counselling 2023 Registration process.
Step 1: Declaration of CLAT Result
After the declaration of CLAT Result and Merit List, all the shortlisted candidates will be called for the final admissions. CLAT Merit List will be available in on the official website. The first CLAT Counselling 2023 will be conducted on the merit-cum-preference basis of CLAT Scores
Step 2: Selection of NLUs
All the shortlisted candidates will be invited to register themselves to the official website of their desired NLUs individually. You can select 5 college preferences. But note that, the candidates will not be allowed to make any changes after the last date of the CLAT Counselling 2023 registration process. So, select the colleges very carefully as per your CLAT Cut Off.
Step 3: Payment of CLAT Counselling Fees
The candidates must submit CLAT Counselling 2023 Fees after selecting their preferred colleges. They have to pay INR 50000/- provisionally. It is suggested to pay CLAT Counselling Fees online by login into the official website. Only candidates who participate in the CLAT Counselling 2023 will be evaluated for the seat allotment process. The candidates must check CLAT Eligibility 2023 first and then apply for the exam.
Step 4: CLAT Seat Allotment
Following the registration of candidates, the CLAT Seat Allotment lists are released on the official website. Candidates who have not been assigned a seat will be given one in the next round of seat allocations.

Step 5: End of CLAT Counselling 2023
Candidates who have been assigned a place in their preferred college have three options:

- Withdrawal from CLAT Seat Allotment: Candidates who withdraw from the CLAT Seat Allotment process forfeit their seats and will not be eligible for future seat allotments.
