On the official website at cuet. samarth. ac. in, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the CUET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the notification booklet. Candidates are advised to review the CUCET eligibility criteria 2022 established by the institution before beginning the application process. From July 15 to August 10, 2022, the National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET Exam 2022 in 10 locations outside of India and over 500 cities throughout the country. The minimum requirements for candidates to be eligible for admission to the various undergraduate programs provided by CUET participating universities in 2022 are set forth in the eligibility criteria of CUET 2022. Candidates must be aware that CUET 2022 qualifying requirements may change depending on the institutes and CUET programs. Candidates will be denied even in the later rounds of admission if they do not match the CUET eligibility requirements.

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2022 for UG

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Central Universities in order to apply and appear for CUET 2022. The eligibility parameters are as follows:

For Undergraduate: Students will need to have passed class 12th from a recognized board to take admitted to Bachelor’s degree programs in the Central Universities. For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50 percent in class XII, for SC/ST, candidates need to have secured a minimum of 45 percent in class XII in order to be eligible for the CUET 2022.

What is the Qualifying Marks for CUET?

As per the eligibility details, the applicant must have the mentioned minimum marks in Class 12th from a recognized board.

CUET Eligibility for Other Courses

For Post Graduate: Candidates applying for a master’s degree must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates applying for admission in the same field of Bachelor’s or different degree must have secured a minimum of 55 percent (General)/ 50 percent (SC/ST) to be eligible for CUET 2022.

For Ph.D.: Candidates applying for Ph.D. programs must have a Master’s degree from a recognized university or institute to apply for admission in research programs. The candidate needs to have secured a minimum of 55 percent (Genera)/ 50 percent (SC/ST) to be eligible for Ph.D. programs in the Central.
