IBPS PO Main Exam is scheduled to be held on 26th November 2022With only 10 days left for the exam, it becomes very essential the way you utilize these days.

By now the preliminary phase is over and students have already started preparing for the Main exam in 2022. Along with Reasoning and computer aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and English section the most important section is General, Economy/Banking Awareness.

1. Bifurcate the Topics:

It is very important for a student to classify the sub-topics of this section so as to prepare this section well. And it becomes very easy to accomplish any work if you divide it into parts. In the same way, divide the topics to be studied in GA into small packets and prepare them one by one. This subject may be divided into the following sub-parts:

  • Static GK-This part includes topics like details related to the Indian States and Culture, Countries & their capitals & currencies; National Parks; Wildlife Sanctuaries, Politicians and their Constituencies, etc.
  • Financial/ Banking Awareness- This topic includes topics like Banking & Economy, Roles & functions of RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, EXIM, NHB, Banking Exchange Rates, etc.
  • Current Affairs –  This includes all the current happenings in India as well as in the World. Events that have a political or social significance become more important and have a good chance of being asked in the exam. 

2. Keep Yourself Updated:

Prepare Current Affairs on a daily basis. At the time of the exam, you can revise all the current affairs in monthly PDF. This will help you in memorizing current affairs better. Make daily notes on important events and revise them regularly.

3. Read Newspaper:

The best source material one can get for IBPS PO Main General Awareness or for any competitive exam would require a thorough and selective reading of the newspapers like The Times of India (TOI), The Hindu, Economic Times, etc.  This will also improve your reading habits and will help you in solving Reading Comprehension. You will get to know what’s happening around you, this will definitely help you in the interview round. 4. Solve Previous Papers Papers:

This is one of the smartest and best approaches to preparing by solving through the previous papers. This will help you to know the topics which you need to prepare the most.

5. Daily Practice:

Giving daily mocks is the best approach to analyzing your exam preparation. you can give a full-length mock or even individual tests. Do not get waste time on any one particular question. Instead, leave that question and move on to the remaining question and mark that question for review.

This technique works in most of the questions. Even if you don’t remember the exact answer to the question, you can answer it by eliminating 2-3 options.
