EPFO has announced 2859 vacancies for the post of Social Security Assistants (SSA) and Stenographer out of which there are a total of 2674 posts of Social Security Assistants (SSA) and 185 posts of Stenographer. Check the vacancies in the table below.

EPFO SSA Eligibility Criteria 2023

The EPFO SSA eligibility criteria are defined by the officials of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). It is mandatory for all candidates to fulfill the required norms in order to participate in the EPFO SSA recruitment process.

Candidates failing to fulfill the EPFO SSA eligibility criteria at any stage will be debarred immediately and won’t be entertained further. Thus, make sure you follow the EPFO SSA criteria as described below before and enroll for the exam.

Nationality

The candidate must be either –

• A Citizen of India or
• A subject of Nepal or
• A subject of Bhutan or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to settle in India permanently provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour the Government of India has issued a certificate of eligibility.

Educational Qualification
