Who Sets the GATE paper?

GATE 2022 will be conducted by IIT, Kharagpur. Every year Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is organized by any of these 8 Institutes – the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and 7 Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee). The operation associated with the GATE examination is managed by the GATE office of the zone of the particular institute, which is going to organize the GATE examination out of 8 zones.
