The GATE 2023 Mechanical paper analysis session was conducted in the afternoon (2 pm - 5 pm). Candidates had to carry their admit Cards to enter the examination hall. There were 8 MSQs (multiple select), 32 MCQs (multiple select questions), and 25 NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions in the first shift of the GATE Mechanical 2023 exam. - The overall difficulty level of the first shift of the GATE Mechanical paper was Moderate to Tough.
- There were 8 MSQs (Multiple select)questions in the GATE 2023 ME exam. All these questions were theoretical-type questions.
