University of Hyderabad Notification 2021: PhD Admission Date, Eligibility, Application Process

The University of Hyderabad offers various research courses under the PhD program. The institution invited applications for PhD/ M.Phil admissions in 2021. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria given below in this article, very carefully before applying for UoH PhD Admission 2021. The University of Hyderabad released the application form for admission into M.Phil/Ph.D. program. UoH is one of the leading universities in India. Anyone who is interested in the PhD can apply for the application form by 21 June 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for UoH PhD. Admission
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the subject applied for.
- Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently abled as per the UGC Regulations 2016.
The following candidates will be exempted from the entrance test and can directly apply for the interview:
- Candidates who have qualified UGC/ CSIR NET-JRF SLET/GATE or have successfully completed M. Phil. Program from a recognized university/ institution.
- The teacher fellowship holders of the recognized college/university/ institution only if a certificate of No Objection is submitted by their employer.

- The questions will be of MCQ type and the mode of examination will be offline i.e. OMR based.
- There will be two parts to the paper.
- Part A- Consists of research methodology.
- Part B- The questions in this section will be subject-specific.
- The total entrance examination marks will be 70 and the interview will be 30 marks. So the total becomes 100 marks.
- The Admission Committees of various Schools will determine the due weightage to the
following components like:
1. Research Proposal and its defence
2. Academic Record/Performance in PG/Gold Medal/Performance in the Written Test
3. Having fellowship/M.Phil./NET/SET
4. Publications
5. Research Experience, etc
