Eligibility Criteria for Professor in DDU Gorakhpur University

An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline, and published a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2, of UGC Regulations, 2018.
Minimum of ten years of teaching experience as Associate or Assistant Professor, and/or research experience at the equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the applied disciplines, from any academic institutions, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience.

Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor in DDU Gorakhpur University

A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned disciplines.
A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point scale.
A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching or research in an academic position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum of seven publications UGC-listed peer-reviewed journals and a research score of total Seventy-five as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2, of UGC Regulations, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor in DDU Gorakhpur University

At least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates.
UGC NET conducted by UGC/CSIR is a must or other state SET tests.
Candidates who have been awarded a PhD. Degree are exempted from the requirement of the min. eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET
Ph.D. degree from foreign universities are also eligible to apply but the ranking of their university should be under Top 500 by (QS/Times/ARWU)
