• Step 2: Click on the link ‘Teaching and Non- teaching’ posts Link. On the next page click on the advertisement dated September 28, 2021.
• Step 3: On the next page you will see all the details regarding the advertisement like dates etc. 
• Step 4: There will be a “click here to apply for the positions” button, click on it and on the next page register by a valid email and mobile number.
• Step 5: Fill all the required fields, check all the details, submit and finally pay the application fee. 
• Step 6: Never forget to download and take a printout of the final form  for future use.

Eligibility Criteria for Allahabad University Assistant Professor

Check the detailed ALU Assistant Professor eligibility 2021 below. All candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the Allahabad University Assistant Professor Posts. 

Educational Qualifications: 

• A master’s degree with grades of 55% (or an equivalent grade on a point scale where the grading system is applied) in a relevant or relevant or related subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an authorised university overseas. (50% for candidates belonging to scheduled caste or scheduled tribe or other backward classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer).
• Those who have obtained a Master’s degree from an overseas accredited university are required to obtain an equivalency certificate by submitting an application to the Indian Universities Association website www.aiu.ac.in and then applying for the position of assistant professor.
• A relaxation of 5% will be given to the candidates who obtained their PhD degree before September 19, 1991.
• Candidate must pass the UGC or CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) or similar UGC accredited tests, such as the State Eligibility Tests (SET).
• Candidates who have obtained a PhD degree by the UGC (Min. Std.& Procedure for the Award of a PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 in regular mode only, will be exempted from the minimum requirement of NET/SET.

NOTE:

1. NET/SLET/SET is not mandatory for those subjects in which the following exams are not conducted.

Age: 

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years 
• There will be a 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/Women candidates and a 10-year relaxation for PWD candidates.
