What is MAN Full Form in Computer?
The MAN full form is Metropolitan Area Network in Computer Networking. A MAN might be a single network like the cable television network, or it usually interconnects several local area networks called LANs using a high capacity backbone technology, such as fiber-optical links, and provides up-link services to a wide area network called WAN. MAN operates at speeds of 1.5Mbps to 10 Mbps and ranges from five miles to a few hundred miles in length. Examples of MAN (MAN full form: Metropolitan Area Network) are FDDI(Fiber Distribution Data Transfer) and ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode).
