Hi students
RRB JE application forms have been closed for registration and the last day for payment is 5th February. More than 20 lakhs students have filled the form. The filling of application form is just the start of the journey to pursue your dreams to get into Indian railways but the main focus should be on the steps that will lead you to get job in railways and work as JE/DMS/CMA to avail this massive vacancies after 3 long years.
The entire recruitment process shall involve:
1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
2nd stage CBT
Document Verification
Medical Examination as applicable.
Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of CBTs
1st Stage CBT (Common for all notified posts)
Duration : 90 minutes (120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with Scribe)
No of Questions : 100
The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature
The Questions will be of objective type and are likely to include questions pertaining to:
Mathematics
General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Awareness
General Science
2nd Stage CBT
Short listing of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam.
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining
- i. General Awareness
- Physics and Chemistry
iii. Basics of Computers and Applications
- Basics of Environment and Pollution Control
- Technical Abilities
Document Verification
During document verification, candidates will have to produce their original documents & Format of Certificates mentioned below.
i.Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof for Date of Birth.
ii.10 +2 / Inter / Higher Secondary/PUC (As applicable)
iii.Diploma / Engineering/Science Degree Certificate with Semester wise Mark Sheets
- SC/ST, OBC-NCL Certificate
- Income Certificate for Economically Backward Classes
- Minority Community declaration on Non – judicial Stamp Paper
Medical Examination
Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties and Visual Acuity Standard A3, B1, B2 and C1.
