Commissionerate of Higher Education Gujarat (CHEGUJ) 2020 Recruitment: Commissionerate of Higher Education has issued a centralized recruitment process for the appointment of ‘Adhyapak Shayak’ in Non-Government Grant-in-aid Colleges. The total number of post that will be filled for the post of Assistant Professor or ‘Adhyapak Sahayak’ in Non-government Grant-in-aid Arts, Commerce, Science, Home Science, Rural Studies, Physical Education, Education and Law colleges are 780. The filling of online application form will begin from 1 December 2020 and will go on till 21 December 2020. The candidate will be called for the interview on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared by calculating the score the candidate got in Graduation, Post-graduation, NET and PhD.

How to Apply for Commissionerate of Higher Education Gujarat (CHEGUJ) ADHYAPAK SAHAYAK, Gujarat 2020
- Eligible candidates have to apply online through the website www.rascheguj.in.
- The only medium for applying is through Online mode. Candidates do not have to send application through any other medium.
- Candidates have to register on website www.rascheguj.in.
- Candidate has to then fill all the required details.
- Finally, the candidate has to pay the application fee through online medium only.
- Candidate must make sure that once application submitted cannot be edited.
- A candidate has to give his mobile number invariably. Do not change this number till the selection process gets over, so that communication can be made whenever necessary.
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Qualifications for the Commissionerate of Higher Education Gujarat (CHEGUJ) ADHYAPAK SAHAYAK, Gujarat 2020
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have done Masters from the subject applied for with at least 55 % marks.
- Candidate must have qualified UGC NET/CSIR NET or State level Eligibility Test (G-SLET) of Gujarat
- Candidates who have registered for PhD. Degree before 11th July 2009 and completed their PhD can be exempted from NET/SLET.
(A) Qualification for Adhyapak Sahayak in Education (B.Ed.) colleges
- A Master Degree in the subject applied for with a minimum of 55% marks.
- M.Ed. Degree with at least 55% marks.
- The candidate must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or state eligibility Test.
- Only the candidates with PhD degree are exempted from NET/SLET.
(B) Qualification for Adhyapak Sahayak in Law colleges.
- A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks.
- L.L.M. qualified from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Also, the candidate must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/ CSIR or State eligibility Test.
- Only the candidates with PhD degree are exempted from NET/SLET.
Pay Scale of Assistant Professor ADHYAPAK SAHAYAK, Gujarat 2020
- For the first five years, candidates will be on Probation with a fixed salary of Rs.40,176.
- After the completion of five years on probation, the candidate will be absorbed on the regular pay scale of Gujrat Government. The condition is the services rendered by the candidate must be satisfactory. For this verification will be conducted.

7. | Academic/ Post Doctoral; experience:- (A) Two marks for each one year, for experience as a regular or ‘Adhyapak Sahayak’ at the graduate level in government or non-government grant-in-aid colleges recognized by the university or full-time experience as an Adhaypak on contractual basis in government colleges. (B) For an experience as a part-time professor, as per the resolution dated 14.11.2001 issued by the Department of Education, if a part-time professor has been appointed through valid selection procedure in the government or non-government grant-in-aid colleges as per the eligibility criteria specified in this advertisement, and has served for a minimum of two years, then s/he will get maximum 10 marks as per the experience mentioned below. (1) 0.5 marks per year for lectures less than 6, (2) 1.0 marks per year, for lectures more than 6, The calculation of years of experience of a candidate will be as per the norms of university recognition of a teacher. (C) For counting the eligibility of experience in other institutions, it will be considered on the basis of experience as mentioned in Para 10 of the UGC Regulations-2018. | 10 |
