All About iPATE: The GATE-way to Corporate World

Every year huge no.of candidates candidates graduate from various institute across the nation as Engineers with a dream to pursue job in prestigious organization.But with the cut-throat competition across various discipline, it is very difficult for the candidates to grab the  best opportunity for their career. Taking a note of this situation, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has announced Industrial Proficiency Aptitude Test for Engineers (iPATE 2020) to standardize the technical recruitment process and protocol for Indian industry and setting a benchmark to assess industrial aptitude and proficiency of engineering graduates across India which has two major aims:

• To map high quality, employable engineering graduates for ease of recruitment
• To facilitate Technical hiring pipeline with minimal time, cost and effort
• To build the mechanism for making students industry-ready, measuring their engineering acumen and industrial skill-sets

Eligibility for the iPATE

• B.E. / B.Tech (4 years course after 10+2)
• B.E. / B.Tech (3 years course after B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology)
• B.Arch – (5 years course) / Naval Architecture (4 years course) / Planning (4 years course)
• Professional Society Examinations – (equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch) recognized by MHRD/ UPSC/ AICTE)
• Final Year Students may also apply
