So, it is important for you to get acquainted with the paper pattern in advance to perform well in the APDCL Exam as the written exam will hold a great deal of importance for you in the selection process.
The APDCL Selection Process for Assistant Manager, Junior Manager, and Assistant Accounts Officer for Group A, B, & C category respectively is a two-stage process:
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Stage 2: Viva-voce/Personal Interview (Except for the post of AAO)

APDCL Exam Pattern 2022 – Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme
The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited Exam is conducted in online mode for the posts of Assistant Manager, Junior Manager and Assistant Accounts Officer posts. Hence the candidates who will be applying for the APDCL recruitment 2022 should make themselves aware of the APDCL Exam Pattern as described below.
- All the questions in the APDCL Online Test will be Multiple Choice Questions.
- The CBT will be a 100 marks paper.
- A correct answer will fetch you 1 mark will an incorrect answer will make you lose 0.25 mark.
- The total duration of the APDCL 2021 Exam will be 2 hours as per the Group.
- There are two sections for each post in the CBT, one is the General subject paper while the other is the core subject comprising questions based on the core subject.

The candidates who will secure the required cutoff marks in the online written test will be called for document verification and viva voce. The viva voce is of 18 marks. The Viva-voce is, however, not applicable for the post of AAO in the APDCL Recruitment process 2022.
Final Selection for APDCL Recruitment
The final selection for the APDCL Recruitment for the post of Assistant Manager, Junior Manager, and Assistant Accounts officer is based on the marks obtained in the CBT mode of examination and viva voce.
- The Viva Voce will not be conducted for the post of APDCL AAO post.
- Once the viva voce is completed, the candidates will have to appear for the document verification and medical test.
- The candidates who will be appointed to join the APDCL for the AM, JM & AAO post, will be on a probation period for 2 years.
