JKSSB Junior Engineer Written Exam

The first step of the JKSSB JE is for all the candidates who have applied for the exam. This is qualifying as well as scoring round. The exam is a merit-deciding round. Candidates will be selected based on the performance in the written exam. All the qualified candidates will be called for document verification. The exam has only technical subjects for your stream.

JKSSB JE Document Verification

Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the board in the written exam are called for document verification. The candidates will have to furnish all the documents asked to prove the eligibility. The documents are required to verify all the details entered by candidates in the application form. The list of documents is given below. 

  • 10th class certificate and mark sheet
  • 12th class certificate and mark sheet
  • Graduation final mark sheet
  • Graduation certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable), etc.

JKSSB Junior Engineer Medical Examination

To make sure the candidate is mentally and physically fit to carry out the job properly, the commission will conduct the medical examination for all the candidates.

JKSSB Junior Engineer Resolution of Tie Cases

For tie cases, the commission will resolve by applying given situations one after the other till the tie case resolves.

  • Marks in written examination,
  • Senior as per the date of birth,
  • Alphabetical arrangement of the first name.
