The ISRO Scientist Cutoff depends on the various factors, The factors which play role in determining the ISRO Cut off is listed below:

  • The trend of the Previous year ISRO scientist cutoff.

ISRO Scientist Engineer Selection Process

The selection process for the ISRO exam is a Two-Phase process, i.e. Written Exam and Interviews.

Phase 1: Written Exam

Candidate fulfiling the eligibility criteria of, i.e. minimum 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84/10 (average of all semesters or the result of the available semester) in B.E. /B. Tech, along with academic performance, bio-data and the initial screening, is shortlisted for written test.

  • The written exam is organised at different venues, cities across the country.
  • The written test paper consists of 80 objective type questions that carry equal marks.
  • Candidates must remember that the written test is only the first level screening, and written test scores will not be considered for the final selection process for ISRO Scientist/Engineer post.

Phase 2: Personal Interview

  • Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview.
  • Details regarding the Personal Interview, i.e. the schedule and the venue, are notified of each shortlisted candidate. 
  • Final selection is based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview and the candidates securing min. 60% marks in the Interview would be considered for empanelment in the selection panel as per the order of merit.

Note: As the details regarding the selection process for the ISRO exam are quite eminent, candidates must focus on building the concepts while preparing for the exams. Most importantly, the aspirants should aim to crack the written exam and focus on the Interview and Final Selection.
