Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Selection process will include an online selection test and interview which is taken by lakhs of aspirants. HAL is an all-India-level exam taken from aspirants from across India. Aspirants who fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria will be called for the Online Selection Test.

Important Aspects of HAL 2022 Selection Process

Below are some important aspects of the selection process of the HAL DT/MT 2022 selection process. We have included all the important aspects related to Online Selection Test and interview round.

  • The date, time, and venue will be mentioned in the e-Admit Card. Aspirants have to download their e-Admit Card from the HAL official website. There is no provision for sending Admit cards either by post or by e-mail.
  • The online test will be held at mentioned cities in the HAL 2022 Application Form. Aspirants are required to choose any three cities as a preference for the exam Center. 
  • Candidates must bring the Original Identity Card (i.e., Voters ID Card / Passport / Driving License / PAN Card / Aadhaar Card /  ID Card issued by Central/ State Govt. /College ID card (which is duly attested by the Gazetted Officer), etc. False/fake ID holders will not be allowed to appear for the online exam.
  • The HAL exam will be of two and half hours duration. 
  • The exam will be in three parts which comprising of Multiple Choice Questions. Part one will consist of 20 General Awareness questions. The second part will consist of 40 questions on English & Reasoning and part three will consist of 100 questions on the concerned discipline. 
  • The exam can be taken in Hindi or English.
  • Based on online exam marks, the candidates will be shortlisted for an interview. The merit of HAL will be in the ratio of 1: 5 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and category. The final merit list will include a weightage of 85% marks for the online exam and 15% marks for the Interview. 
  • The entire selection process will be monitored and governed by the extant Recruitment Rules of the Company, uploaded in the HAL Website.

Medical Process of HAL DT/MT 2022

 Selected candidates will go for medical examination before joining HAL. Candidates must meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. The decision of the Company’s Doctor regarding fitness will be final and binding. 

Additionally, the PwBDs disability will be decided based on special employment exchanges for the physically handicapped. PwBDs appointment will be subject to verification of Disability Certificate from the concerned Authorities as per the Company Rules.

 

HAL DT/MT 2022 SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND

 A Bond of Service Agreement executes to serve HAL duty for a period of 5 years(excluding the training period). In case of breaching of the Service Agreement while the training period, the candidate is liable to refund/reimburse the training expenses (it includes recruitment expenses + all the remuneration paid + expenses incurred for the training period), maximum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only).

HAL DT/MT 2022 PLACEMENT

Posting of selected candidates would be in any of the Production, Services Divisions or Overhaul / Offices / Research & Design Centres. Selected candidates will undergo 52 weeks of training, there will be various training modules including theoretical & on-the-job training at several places. 

The Trainees shall draw a Stipend comprising of Basic Pay of Rs.40000/- during the training period. Dearness & Canteen Allowance and the bachelor accommodation are also admissible during the training, as per the Company Rules. 

After the successful completion of training, the Engineers will come in the Grade-II Scale of Pay of Rs.40,000 -1,40,000/-. 

The Officer will be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Basic Pay, other Perks and allowances under Cafeteria system, House Rent Allowance, Company Accommodation, Performance Related Pay (variable pay), Provident Fund, Medical Facilities, Gratuity, etc.

GENERAL CONDITIONS For HAL

Candidates are allowed to apply for the advertised posts that will be suited to them. Candidates can apply for more than one post, for example, DT (Mechanical), MT (Technical) (Mechanical), MT (IMM) (Mechanical)]. Only Indian candidates are eligible to apply. 

Candidates pursuing correspondence / Distance Education  / E-learning courses are not eligible to apply. Candidates who are employed in  / Semi-Government, Government, or Public Sector Undertakings should produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of the Interview. Applying aspirants should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and all the conditions mentioned in the Advertisement. All Categories (i.e., SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS/UR) are allowed for filling the Online Application Form. 

Reserved Categories must submit Caste / Disability Certificate/ Income & Asset (as applicable) issued by the Competent Authority. Applying candidates are advised to go through with the all details in the advertisement and FAQs carefully.
