Difference Between Website and Web Application: The Website and Web application are able runs in browsers, they require access to the internet, and they both use the same programming languages for the front end and a back end. The main difference between Website and Web application is that a Web application is a piece of software which is accessed by the browser and the browser is an application which is used for browsing the internet, whereas a Website is a collection of related web pages. The Website contains images, text, audio, video, etc. It can consist of n number of pages.
