Educational Qualification

Candidate must have acquired a bachelor’s degree in technology from a recognized university or institution.

Indian Army SSC Tech Age Limit Criteria

Applicants should not be more than the outlined maximum age limit and not less than the minimum age limit. In case of violation, the candidates will be disqualified or not selected for the next stage of the selection process.

Indian Army SSC Tech 61 & SSC Tech(W) 32 Selection Process

Candidates aspiring to serve in the Indian Army must ensure that they pass all the SSC Tech 61 and SSC Tech(W) 32 selection processes. The different stages of SSC Tech 61 and SSC Tech(W) 32 are as follows:

Shortlisting of Applicants: The Integrated HQ of MoD(Army) will set the cut-off marks for all the engineering disciplines and based on that candidates will be called for the examination.

SSB & Medical Examination: Candidates will be called for the two-stage examination. Those who fail Stage 1 will be returned and the rest will go for stage 2 i.e. SSB which will be conducted for five days and a medical examination will also be done.

Candidates who will be appointed under the SSC Tech entry scheme will be paid based on their rank in the Indian army. The pay scale for the different ranks has been outlined in the table below.
