GSECL Eligibility Criteria 2023

Aspirants willing to apply should ensure that they comply with the GSECL eligibility criteria set by the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited for Vidyut Sahayak posts. The eligibility criteria for GSECL Vidyut Sahayak are elaborated on in the coming sections.

• For Unreserved Category: Minimum – 21 years & Maximum- 36 years
• For Reserved & EWS Category: Minimum- 21 years % Maximum- 41 years (On the date of 03.01.2023).

GSECL Vidyut Sahayak Educational Qualification

According to the notification, the educational qualification for the GSECL Vidyut Sahayak posts is as follows:

• Candidate must have a regular or full-time diploma in the concerned engineering discipline such as electrical or mechanical from a recognized university with at least 55% in the last year or 5th & 6th semester.

GSECL Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attandant) Salary

The corporation will pay a good salary to the selected aspirant. As elaborated in the notification here is the GSECL Vidyut Sahayak salary:

• The Fixed Salary Monthly for 1 Year Rs.17,500/-, from year 2 Rs. 19,500/- and Rs. 20,500/- for the third year.
• No other allowance or benefits would be admissible. Reimbursement of TA/DA as per GSO-332 dated 03.01.2023.

Upon completion of three-year tenure, the applicants will be regularized in the pay scale of Rs. 26000-56600 based on performance throughout the year.

Selection Process for GSECL Recruitment 2023

Candidates will be appointed to the GSECL based on their performance in the outlined GSECL Vidyut Sahayak selection process. There will be two stages and those are as follows: 

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Document Verification (DV)

Applicants who ace the Online GSECL Vidyut Sahayak exam will be called to appear for the document verification process and a pre-employment medical examination.

GSECL Vidyut Sahayak Exam Pattern 2023

• The test question paper will contain 100 questions and the paper will have 100 marks
• There will be a negative marking of 1/4th per the wrong answer.
• In case of a large application received, the examination will be taken in multiple sessions and marks will be normalized.
