GPSC AE Recruitment 2021 Out! Gujarat Public Service Commission has released the notification for the applications of 119 Assistant Engineers (Civil), Class 2 in the Department of Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department and 225 Assistant Engineers (Civil & Mechanical), Class-II under Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board.
Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) conducts various examinations for the recruitment of qualified applicants for class I and class II posts in the Gujarat Government. Age Limit and Relaxations
- Should not be more than 35 years from the last date of the receipt of the application.

Employees of Gujarat Government: The provisions given by the Gujarat Civil Services under the Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967. An Applicant who is already in Gujarat Government service, either as a permanent or a temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed the age limit prescribed for the Given post at the time of his first appointment. |
i)If experience is mentioned as one of the qualifications, the upper age limit shall not apply. (ii) If experience is not Mentioned as one of the qualifications and a Govt. servant appointed to a post requiring a Medical, Engineering, Veterinary, or Agriculture degree or diploma and who applied for any such post, the upper age the limit shall not apply. (iii) If experience is not Mentioned as one of the qualifications in the advertisement, Govt. servants who are working on the post from which the employee can be promoted to the post so advertised, be entitled to relaxation of 5 years, or the extent of equal a number of years for which service has been put in by him, whichever is less. |
GPSC AE Pay Scale 2021
- Rs 44,900 to Rs 142400/ (Grade Pay Rs.4600/) [Level-8] in the GWSSB service.
GPSC AE Educational Qualification
- Candidate shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) obtained from any of the institutions or Universities which are established or incorporated by the State as well as Central Act in India or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- The candidate must know Computer Applications as Prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- The candidate must have a good knowledge of Hindi Or Gujrati Or both.
