BPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria 2020

1. Educational Qualification

•  Candidates should have B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (Engg.) and M.E/M.Tech/M.S or Integrated M.Tech in Civil Engineering with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees

2. Age Limit

As on 01.08.2020

• Minimum Age: 22 years 

Application Fee 

• For General/OBC & Other state candidates: ₹ 750
• For SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of Bihar State: ₹ 200

BPSC Assistant Professor Selection Procedure:

The total marks will be 100 marks and the below table will specify how much marks are assigned to what category:

Academic Record and Research Performance (20 Marks)	Evaluation of Domain Knowledge and Teaching Skill through written Examination (Objective) (40 Marks)	Interview Weightage (15 Marks)	For Assistant Professor engaged on contract basis (25 Marks)
Maximum 10 (10% of Percentage Marks Obtained in M.Tech/M.E/M.S in relevant branch/subject Maximum 5 (5% of Percentage Marks Obtained in B.E/B.Tech/B.S/B.Sc (Engg) Maximum 5 (Ph.D)	There will be a objective paper of 80 questions and the time duration will be 2 hours. For Engineering Stream-The syllabus of GATE will be applicable.		Weightage to candidates working on contract basis on the post of Assistant Professor under Department of Science and Technology and possessing minimum eligibility -criteria @5 marks per year

BPSC Assistant Professor Salary 2020:

The salary for the post of Assistant Professor will be ₹57,700 Pay-Scale 10.
