WBSETCL Junior Engineer Job Profile
Upon qualifying for the WBSETCL JE written exam, interview and medical test, you will be given the appointment letter for the post of WBSETCL Junior Engineer in the Electrical department. The job profile or the work and responsibilities for the WBSETCL JE are as follows:
- As a Junior Engineer in the Electrical department in WBSETCL, you might be aligned to heavy stations which include some circuits, transformers etc. You will be working under your senior manager in this profile.
- As a WBSETCL JE, under the testing team, you will be working on some projects which might be related to some trial or testing for a new setup in electrical boards.
- You will be working to look up new opportunities in the electrical department. For example, to develop ways to reduce electricity usage in households in a cost-effective manner.
- Projects might also involve setting up a new electricity station in a particular area or enhancement of a specific service, or reduction of extra work.
WBSETCL JE Probation Period: Probation & Bond Amount
The candidates employed as WBSETCL JE (Electrical) shall be on a probation period for a period of 1 (one) year. During the probation, they shall be on training period. They will have to undergo extensive orientation on the job and classroom training in the Company’s training centre/establishments. Upon successful completion of the training period, they will be confirmed as permanent employees as per the Company rules.
Employment Bond for WBSETCL JE Recruitment 2022
The candidates who will be appointed as WBSETCL Jr. Engg. (Electrical) Gr. 2 shall be required to furnish a bond of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rs. One Lakh only) at the time of joining WBSETCL for a minimum of 4 years from the date of joining including the Probation Period.
