WBSETCL JE Exam Pattern 2023 for Written Exam
There will be a single exam for the selection of the Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer. Candidates who are going to write the exam can check the details on the WBSETCL exam pattern for AE and JE below.

WBSETCL JE Marking Scheme
Candidates should note that one question shall carry one mark only. Hence the maximum marks for which the exam will be held is 100 marks as there is total 100 questions. Apart from that, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. So, candidates can attempt as many questions as they want in order to secure maximum marks in the exam.

WBSETCL Junior Engineer Interview
The candidates who will qualify for the WBSETCL JE written exam will be called to appear for a personal interview. The WBSETCL JE interview will be for 25 marks.
- There are no qualifying marks for the Interview.
- However, the marks secured in the Interview will be added with the CBT marks to prepare the final merit list of the candidates.
