UPPCL JE 2022 Notification

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, UPPCL has released a recruitment notification for the post of UPPCL Junior Engineer (Electrical) under the E&M cadre on its official website. A total of 173 vacancies have been released for the post of UPPCL JE 2022 recruitment. Candidates having the required eligibility criteria for the UPPCL JE can apply online from the official website of UPPCL. 

UPPCL JE recruitment application date is active from 12th November to 2nd December 2021. UPPCL has also announced the tentative exam date for UPPCL JE CBT along with the UPPCL JE notification pdf. The UPPCL JE exam date is 2nd week of January 2021.

UPPCL JE Salary

The salary for the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) Junior Engineer will be given as per the U.P. govt in the 7th pay commission. There is a difference between the UPPCL AE and UPPCL JE salary as explained to you below. 

Apart from the salary for the UPPCL JE and UPPCL AE posts, you will also be entitled to receive other perks and allowances such as DA, HRA, medical facilities and so on.

UPPCL JE Eligibility Criteria: Age, Educational Qualification

It is very important for candidates to know the eligibility criteria as all the criteria needs to be met by the candidates in order to appear for the UPPSCL Jr. Engg. exam 2021. The eligibility criteria for UPPCL JE include fulfilment of the age limit and educational qualification. 

UPPCL JE Age Limit

The age limit for UPPCL JE will be calculated as of 1st January 2021. Age relaxation will be applicable only to those candidates who belong to Uttar Pradesh and hold U.P. domicile.

• Minimum age required for the exam is 18 years. Candidates below the age of 18 are not eligible for appearing in the exam.
• Maximum age is 40 years. Candidates beyond the age of 40 are not allowed to appear for the exam.  

UPPCL AE Age Limit

The age limit for UPPCL Assistant Engineer will be calculated as on 1st January 2021. Age relaxation will be applicable only to those candidates who belong to Uttar Pradesh and hold U.P. domicile.

• Minimum age required for the exam is 21 years.
• Maximum age is 40 years. 

UPPCL JE Educational Criteria

• Candidates should have a good command of Hindi language and should have passed High school with Hindi as one of the subjects. If the candidate does not possess Hindi as a subject then they are required to clear an exam held by the department within 3 years.

UPPCL JE Selection Process

The UPPCL JE selection process for Electrical Engineering will be done through the following stages: 

• Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Stage 2: Document Verification 

The merit list for the UPPCL JE recruitment will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the online test. There will not be an interview for the UPPCL JE Electrical exam 2021.
