RRB JE Eligibility 2023 is formulated by Railways Recruitment Board to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineer. RRB JE Age Limit

RRB JE age limit is prescribed on the basis of the nature of the post. Candidates desiring to apply for the exam must meet the RRB JE minimum and maximum age limit. Any candidate who fails to comply with the set age limit is not eligible to take the exam. RRB JE age limit varies from category to category for which the details have been provided below:

  • The minimum or lower age limit to apply for the post is 18 years 
  • The maximum or upper age limit is 33 year

RRB JE Nationality

The nationality of candidates is also an important factor that determines their eligibility. RRB JE nationality describes the nations or countries whose residents are eligible to apply for the exam. The concerned authority selects the countries for RRB JE Nationality Criteria based on their relations with India. RRB JE nationality criteria as defined by the Board are described below. Candidates from any of the following categories are eligible to apply for the RRB JE Exam:

  • Citizen of India
  • Nationals of Bhutan/ Nepal
  • Tibetan refugees who had migrated to India before January 1, 1962
  • Person of Indian origin who has migrated to India from countries such as Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries of Zambia, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Malawi, Ethiopia & Vietnam.

RRB JE Medical Qualifications

Candidates also need to adhere to RRB JE medical qualifications in order to be eligible for the job of Junior Engineer in the railways. Candidates have to go through a medical test, which is the final stage of the RRB JE selection process, and the candidates have to ensure that they meet the RRB JE medical standards that are set by the board. Number of Attempts for RRB JE

As per the RRB JE notification, there is no limit to the number of attempts. However, the candidates must make sure that they fulfill the age limit and educational qualification as per the dates prescribed by RRB. 

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria: Key Points

Candidates must be aware of the key points related to the RRB JE 2023 Eligibility. The following are the important points to note while applying for the RRB JE Exam: 

  • Candidates in their final year of graduation or diploma are ineligible to apply for the exam.
  • At the discretion of document verification, your caste certificate, Pwd certificate, or NOC will be required.
  • Candidates from the reserved category are only eligible for age relaxation.
  • With the exception of PwD candidates, candidates must be of sound mind and physically fit to apply.

  • RRB JE eligibility criteria 2023 is that the candidates must be a graduate and must be between 18 years to 33 years. Candidates must also ensure that they have their nationality status as well as medical qualifications in accordance with RRB JE eligibility criteria to ensure they can participate in the exam.

  • RRB JE age limit is from 18 years to 33 years. There is also age relaxation of upto 5 to 15 years based on the category of the candidates. It is of utmost importance ot be aware of the agr bracket set by RRB JE eligiblity criteria to not get disqualified at later stages. 

  • No, the candidates appearing for the final year or awaiting the final result cannot apply for RRB JE Recruitment 2023. Only candidates who have completed their graduation in the courses as prescribed by the RRB JE eligibility criteria are allowed to participate in the exam. 

  • As per RRB JE eligibility, there is no limit on the number of attempts that a candidate can give for RRB JE. However, there is an age limit to which candidates must adhere. Hence, candidates can only apply online for the RRB JE exam till the upper age limit is reached.
