  • The JSSC Junior Engineer Paper-2 of Mains contains subject-specific questions for the Engineers from varied streams. 
  • The duration for each paper is 2 hours. 
  • Paper 1 shall have 80 questions while paper 2 shall have 40 questions.
  • Each question is for 3 marks i.e. the JSSC JE written exam shall be for 720 marks in total.

JSSC JE Document Verification

JSSC JE document verification is the second and final stage of the selection process. After the completion of the written exam, the candidates who will obtain JSSC JE cut off marks shall be called to appear for the document verification (DV) process. JSSC JE document verification process is carried out to validate the eligibility that you have furnished in the application form. You will be required to carry all of your original documents along with a photocopy of the same.

JSSC JE Exam Pattern FAQs

  • JSSC JE exam pattern 2022 comprises a written exam that will have 2 papers. Paper 1 will be general in nature whereas PAper 2 will be subject-specific. All the questions shall be MCQs set in both English and Hindi languages. There will be 240 questions in total for 720 marks. 

  • Yes, JSSC JE negative marking is for 1 mark in the exam. As per JSSC JE exam pattern, 1 marks is deducted for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.

  • JSSC JE document verification is the final stage of JSSC JE selection process wherein candidates have to furnish documents which will help authorities cross-verify the eligiblity claims made by the candidate during the application process.

  • As per JSSC JE marking scheme, for each correct answer, the candidate is awarded 3 whereas for each wrong answer 1 mark is deducted. No marks are awarded or deducted for an unanswered question.

  • As per the JSSC JE exam pattern,  the duration of the exam is 2 hours each for both papers. The total JSSC JE duration is 4 hours.

  • JSSC JE total marks are 740. Paper 1 carrier 360 marks whereas Paper 2 also carries 360 marks.
