DDA JE Selection Process: Written Examination
The online written exam is the first and most important stage in the DDA JE selection process. Candidates aspiring to the position of Junior Engineer must ensure that they achieve high marks in the written examination, as the marks obtained will be used to make selection. The DDA JE exam pattern for online examination is provided in the table below:
- The question paper will be multiple choice-based questions.
- There will be a total of 120 questions with 120 marks.
- The total time duration for the DDA JE exam will be 2 Hours.
Negative marking criteria will be as follows
- Where the questions are of 01 marks there will be a penalty of 0.33 marks and questions of 02 marks will have a negative marking of 0.66 marks.

DDA JE Document Verification
The final stage of the DDA JE selection process is document verification. Candidates who pass the online examination will be invited for DDA JE document verification before being issued an offer letter. It is necessary to appear for document and identity verification. Shortlisted candidates are advised to bring all of the following original documents, as well as self-attested photocopies, in the format specified:
- Submitted copy of DDA JE application form along with the fee payment receipt.
- Certificate/ Marks-sheet of Secondary School Exam in which date of birth of the candidate is indicated.
- Degrees & Certificates of all educational and professional/ higher qualifications, along with mark sheets of all years/ semesters.
- Experience certificate (wherever applicable).
- Certificate of SC/ST /OBC /EWS, as the case may be, issued by the concerned Competent Authority,(if applicable).
- Employment Certificate, if you are an existing employee of DDA or anywhere in service.
- Disability Certificate (Showing the type & percentage of disability) issued by the concerned
competent authority. - Photo Identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
- All other documents, as per details given in the notification and/or call letter.
In case the candidate does not appear before the board for DDA JE document verification along with original documents, they will be rejected and will not be appointed for the post.
