Balram Jakhar is the longest serving speaker of the Lok Sabha. He was a part of the Ferozepur Constituency (22 January 1980 – 15 January 1985) and Sikar Constituency (16 January 1985 – 18 December 1989). Apart from this, he also served as Governor of Madhya Pradesh from 20 July 2004 – 19 July 2009. He was an Indian politician from the Congress party.
