Krishna Rao and Valubai Gokhale were his parents.

Their politics were different, but their goals were to make India a better nation.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Gopal Krishna Gokhale were the most important figures in India’s freedom movement.
Both belong to the Indian National Congress.
However, their ideas always lied otherwise, which is why Tilak was Gokhale’s political opponent.
