Army Agniveer Eligibility 2022

Agniveer Army Age Limit

General Duty

– Passed Class 10 with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.

– For Grading System: A minimum of D grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or the equivalent grade and overall aggregate in C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

Agniveer Tech (Avn & Amn Examiner)

– Passed Class 12 in Science and must have studied Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject or

Passed Class 12 from a recognized board including NIOS and ITI in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above.

Agniveer (Tech)

Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th Pass

– Candidates should have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.

– Should have obtained 33% marks in each subject.

Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical – All Arms)

– Candidates should have completed Class 12 in any stream with 60% marks in total and at least 50% in each subject.

– Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping.

Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 8th Pass

– Candidates should have passed Class 8 from a recognized board.

– Should have scored at least 33% marks in each subject.

Agneepath Army Physical Eligibility

The general medical standards have been formulated based on the nature of the daily tasks of the soldiers. Candidates must satisfy the physical standards as given in the Agneepath Army eligibility criteria.

  • Army Agniveer Height: The candidate’s height should be not less than 157.5 cm. It is relaxable to 1.52 cm in the case of Assamese, Gorkhas, Garhwalis, etc.
  • Weight: The weight of a candidate should be in proportion to the height. For example, the minimum weight for 157.5 cm height should be 49.5 Kg.
  • The chest should be well developed and should extend at least 5 cm.
  • Candidates should be in good physical and mental condition, with no abnormality in the chest and spine, and must be free from skin disease, etc.

Army Agniveer Eligibility Criteria – Nationality

The candidates applying for the Agneepath Army exam must be a citizen of India or Nepal. As per the Army Agniveer eligibility criteria, a valid domicile certificate signed by the District Magistrate with the candidate’s photograph must be carried by the individual at the time of document verification. If a candidate is a citizen of other countries, he/she will not be allowed to apply for the exam.
