ISRO Exam Pattern 2023: Technician B and Technical Assistant

Exam patterns for the post of Technician B and technical assistant are described below. It is important to know to get a clear understanding of the exam.

Aspirants who apply for the role of Technician B and Technical Assistant posts in ISRO should keep a note of the following pointers.

1. Duration of the exam - 120 minutes.
2. The number of questions - 80 questions.
3. Total marks - 320.
4. Each correct answer - 4 marks.
5. Only objective type 
6. Medium of the language - English and Hindi.
7. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.
8. Mode of ISRO exam - offline mode

ISRO Exam Pattern: Personal Interview

After the completion of the Written Test, the ISRO announces the result. Candidates who qualify for the first stage by scoring up to or more than the cutoff specified by the ISRO officials are selected to appear for the next round which is the Personal Interview. Detailed information and venue regarding the personal interview are notified by the ISRO officials.

During the Personal Interview round, the candidates are examined by the officials to see whether he/she is fit to for the duties of Scientist/Engineer at ISRO or not. Candidates are required to secure at least 60% marks in the Personal Interview round. After this round, the final announcement of shortlisted candidates comes. Shortlisted candidates are appointed as Scientists/Engineers in the Indian Space Research Organization.

Instructions Regarding ISRO Interview

Some of the instructions that candidates should follow for the Personal Interview round of ISRO Recruitment 2023 are listed here.

1. Candidates attending the interview will be facilitated with to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city registered in the online application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose are not entertained).
2. Candidates called for an interview need to present all the relevant documents (original) in proof of details filled in their application submitted online.
3. If any information that has been entered during the online application is found to be counterfeit, the candidate will not be allowed for the interview and Travelling Allowance will not be paid.
4. There isn't any TA for attending the Written Test.
