The Indian Air Force Airmen exam was conducted from 12th to 18th July 2021. The result of the exam was expected to be released earlier, but it got delayed due to administrative reasons. As per the latest updates, the notification release of Indian Air Force X & Y (Star  02/2021) is also delayed because of the same reason. Candidates are advised to check their official email & CSAB website on the regular basis.

• Now, fill in your registration number and Date of Birth, etc
• Download the result

Indian Air Force has not released the cutoff marks for Airmen Group X & Y 2021 exam. The cutoff marks for Airmen Group X & Y will be released with the result. 

Selection Process of Airmen Group X & Y in Indian Air Force

The entire selection process is divided into the following stages. The Indian Air Force Group X & Y exam is divided into three stages. In the following article, we will discuss all the stages of the Indian Air Force Group X & Y exam.

Stage 1: Online Test

Those candidates who clear stage 1 of the examination are eligible for stage 2

Stage 2

This Stage is divided into 3 parts:

Part 1: Physical Fitness Test

• Running: 1.6 Kilometers in 6 Minutes & 30 Seconds
• 20 Squats
• 10 push-ups
• 10 sit-ups

Part 2

Situation Reaction Test: In this test, candidates are tested for different situations, how they react to them. It is one of the most important tests of the entire selection process where a candidate is tested for practical as well as mental ability.

Part 3 

Group Discussion: This process consists of a group of 10-15 candidates. The Group Discussion is an excellent way for the assessor to check the knowledge of a candidate on issues related to current events. Also, it is a tool for accessors to check the communication skill of the candidates.

Stage 3: Medical Exam

This is the last stage of the selection process, candidates are checked up for their medical fitness.

As per the local media reports, the provisional selection list is now expected to be announced in the month of December 2021. However, the enrollment list for intake will be released soon on Indian Air Force official website. Candidates are advised to check the official website to get further details on Air Force STAR 1 Result 2021.
