Number of attempts for GATE exam
According to the official notification from the GATE organizing committee, there is no restriction on the number of attempts. As per the GATE officials, age is also not a barrier to eligibility for the exam.
According to the latest notification from the GATE officials, students can even attempt and sit for two subjects in the GATE exam.
