ICAR AICE JRF/ SRF Exam Pattern 2022

Exam Pattern For AIIEA UG

  • Exam Duration: The duration of the exam is a total of 150 minutes. The visually challenged or blind candidates will be credited an extra 50 minutes to complete their exam.
  • Examination Mode: The exam is conducted online mode.
  • Subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agriculture, and Mathematics. The Candidates will have to attempt only 3 subjects as per the subjects that they have selected.
  • Total Number of Questions: There will be a total of 150 questions that can be asked from each subject.
  • Sections: The question paper will consist of 3 sections, i.e./ PCM/ PCA/ PCB ACB as per the subjects.
  • Marking Scheme: There will be 4 marks provided for each correct answer.
  • Question Type: There will be objective-type questions in the question paper.
  • Language: The question paper for the exam will be both in Hindi as well as English.
  • Negative Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Total Marks: The question paper will consist of a total of 600 marks.

Exam Pattern For AIIEA PG

  • Examination Mode: The examination will be conducted online mode.
  • Exam Duration: The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
  • Total Marks: The Question Paper will be a total of 480 marks.
  • Questions: The examination will have one question paper for each of the twenty major subject groups that consist of 10 cross-matching type questions along with 120 objective type questions.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, the candidate will be allotted 4 Marks.
  • Negative Marking Scheme: There will be a deduction of 1 Mark for every wrong answer.

ICAR JRF Exam Exam Pattern FAQs

  • The ICAR exam pattern is very simple and easy to remember. The selection process involves only one stage exam. There are three sections in the ICAR JRF exam. The exam is conducted for 2 hours i.e, 120 minutes and the total marks of the paper is also 120.

  • The questions will be multiple choice types. Candidates will get a set number of options for each question. Candidates need to select the best possible answer for that question out of the options. 

  • The marking scheme for the ICAR JRF exam is very simple. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded +1 marks. For each incorrect answer, the aspirant will be penalized by 0.25 marks.

  • The ICAR JRF & SRF exam is conducted for a total of 120 marks. The marks are divided into 3 sections. The first section holds 20 marks whereas the remaining 2 sections are 50 marks each. Check the distribution of ICAR total marks on the page.
