Dr. BR Ambedkar is the father of the Indian Constitution. Indian Constitution is the longest-written constitution which contains fundamental rights like the supreme law of the country. Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is called the father of the Indian Constitution because he was a part of the drafting committee, which took 2 years 11 months 19 days to draft the Indian Constitution. It was officially adopted on 26 January 1950.

Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar who was the Law Minister at that time introduced the final draft of the Indian Constitution in the Constituent Assembly and later he became the father of the Indian Constitution.
