Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is the father of the Indian Constitution. The Indian Constitution is the longest written constitution that contains the supreme law of the land such as fundamental rights.  Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is called the father of the Indian Constitution as he was part of the drafting committee which took 2 years 11 months and 19 days to draft the Indian Constitution. It was adopted officially on 26 January 1950.

Father of the Indian Constitution

Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar who was the Law Minister at that time introduced the final draft of the Indian Constitution in the Constituent Assembly and later he became the father of the Indian Constitution.
