The difference between Latitude and Longitude is that Latitude measures the distance from the equator; while Longitude measures the distance from the Prime Meridian. Latitude and longitude are part of a system of coordinates that are used to determine the location of any place on the Earth’s surface. Both latitudinal lines and longitudinal lines are imaginary.
