The Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) was launched by the Government of India in 1978 and was implemented in 1980. The Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) was launched by the Government of India in 1978, implemented in 1980, and ran till 1999. After that, IRDP and 5 other programs were renamed Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana. This is for poor rural people who work for themselves.
