OTR Platform for UPSC Registration

Union Public Service Commission has launched the OTR platform for the UPSC application form. OTR, or One Time Registration, has been started for candidates to submit IAS application form for various examinations conducted by UPSC. The OTR platform will securely save the candidate’s information on the Commission’s servers when he/she registers on the portal.

For UPSC apply online, candidates will have to verify that information. This, in turn, will save the time of again and again filling up the personal details.

The Commission has set the eligibility requirements for those wishing to fill up the UPSC application form. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and an age range of 21 to 32 years can apply for the exam.

Steps to fill out UPSC Application Form 2023

Per the UPSC Notification, applicants must have their personal and academic information and scanned pictures ready to upload for the UPSC online application procedure. To apply for the examination within the time period of UPSC application form fill-up dates, you need to follow the given steps:

  • The next window opens the “Important Instructions to fill UPSC Online Application Form”, scroll down the page and click on “Yes”.

Step 1: UPSC Registration 2023

The first step to applying for the UPSC application form 2023 is Registration. In this step, you will have to provide the following basic details. Once you have entered the given details, you will be provided with a registration number that will be sent to your registered email id and contact number.

Step 2: Filling the UPSC IAS Application Form

In this step, you have to complete the UPSC application form for the exam. This step of filling UPSC apply online involves completing the following three steps:

  • Payment of application fee.
  • Uploading of scanned documents.
  • Selecting Exam Centre.

Step 3 of UPSC Apply Online: Agreement to Declaration

Verify all the details of the UPSC application form 2023. Then click on the ‘I Agree’ button after reading the declaration. On clicking the button, note down the registration number that will be displayed on the screen. Take a printout of the filled-in IAS application form.

Step 4: Exam Centre For IAS Apply Online

This is the last step for UPSC application process. No changes will be made once you have submitted your UPSC application form for the exam. In this, you have to select the exam center of your choice. Make sure that you apply beforehand so that you can make the exam center as per your choice.

UPSC Application Fees

Your UPSC application form for CSE will not be accepted until you have paid the required amount of fee as per your category. Candidates from the general, EWS, and OBC categories must pay a fee of INR 100 to submit their application. You can pay the UPSC application fee for the Preliminary examination either online (Through SBI debit card/ Net Banking/ credit card) or offline (by cash through SBI bank challan) mode.
