Step 2: Filling the UPSC IAS Application Form

In this step, you have to complete the UPSC application form for the exam. This step of filling UPSC apply online involves completing the following three steps:

  • Payment of application fee.
  • Uploading of scanned documents.
  • Selecting Exam Centre.

You can pay the UPSC application fee for the Preliminary examination either online (Through SBI debit card/ Net Banking/ credit card) or offline (by cash through SBI bank challan) mode.

How to Withdraw UPSC Online Form 2023?

The Commission has given the option to withdraw the UPSC application form to the candidates in case they do not wish to take the exam. The online form can be withdrawn from certain dates yet to be announced. Here are the steps to withdraw the UPSC application form:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC.
  • Step 2: Go to the withdrawal of application: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination.
  • Step 3: Click on the link that is given for withdrawal.
  • Step 4: Read the instruction given there and click ‘Yes’.
  • Step 5: Enter your registration number and click on the continue button.
  • Step 6: Enter the details such as your name, DOB, gender, and other details.
  • Step 7: Select the option for withdrawal for the UPSC application form and press agree.

  • Candidates must visit the website to complete and submit the UPSC Application Form 2023.
