Which Entry is Better NDA or TES?
Now talking about promotions it has been seen that the officers who are from NDA have a higher and faster chance of promotion when compare with TES officers. It is seen from the fact that till now NDA has given 27 service Chiefs of Staff. An amazing fact is that all the current three chiefs of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force are alumni of NDA from the same course.
The cadets who join Indian Armed Forces through NDA entry get the chance to join the fighting arms Infantry, Artillery, Para SF, etc. But for the officer of TES, these opportunities are very limited. On the other side, TES officers get more pay allowance when we compare it with NDA officers.
