NDA Eligibility for Female 2023
The eligibility criteria for the NDA Exam to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission were set by a couple of conditions. The following are the major components of the UPSC NDA exam eligibility for female:
- Nationality
- NDA age limit
- Education
- Marital Status
- Physical health
NDA Girl Eligibility - Nationality
Any female applicant who is an Indian citizen can apply for the examination, according to the UPSC notice. Alternatively, they must satisfy the Commission's NDA nationality criteria for female listed below.
- A Nepalese subject or
- A Bhutanese subject
- People of Indian descent returned to India or Vietnam from Zaire, Ethiopia, East African countries Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
- Tibetan refugees arrived in India before January 1, 1962, seeking to cooperate there.
Note: Those who meet any of the four criteria listed above and have a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India are eligible to apply for the UPSC NDA 2023 exam.
NDA Age limit for Female
The question which is frequently asked is "How to join NDA for females?". The answer for this question is in the official notification. The Union Public Service Commission stipulates the NDA age limit for girl. According to the UPSC, aspirants between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5 years can apply online.

Note: As per the Union Public Service Commission's norms, reserved category applicants for the NDA and NA tests are not eligible for age relaxation.
NDA Female Eligibility Criteria - Academic Qualification
The NDA educational criteria for female for applying for the exam and filling out the NDA Application Form 2023 are also given by the Union Public Service Commission. Aspirants must have completed class 12th from a recognized board to be eligible to take the exam.
NDA Exam Eligibility for Female - Marital Status
Candidates who want to take the NDA 1 2023 and NDA 2 2023 exams must be unmarried and intend to stay unmarried until the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy training begins. If a candidate marries while undergoing UPSC NDA training, he would be expelled from the Academy.
NDA Eligibility for Female - Physical & Medical Standard
Those who pass the written exam and interview will be invited to take the NDA physical fitness or medical test for female. The authorities will examine the candidate's physical and mental health at this stage.
