[Latest] MPSC Rajyaseva New Exam Pattern

The MPSC Commission has recently announced a decision. Accordingly, the MPSC main examination will now be descriptive and will also include two optional subjects.

• एमपीएससी आयोगाकडून नुकताच एक निर्णय जाहीर करण्यात आलेला आहे. त्यानुसार एमपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षा आता वर्णनात्मक स्वरूपाची असणार आहे, तसेच त्यात दोन वैकल्पिक विषयांचा सुद्धा समावेश असेल.
• This change for Rajyaseva Main Examination will be implemented in the MPSC State Service Examination to be held in 2023.
• राज्यसेवा मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी चा झालेला हा बदल 2023 मध्ये होणाऱ्या एमपीएससी राज्यसेवा परीक्षेत मध्ये लागू करण्यात येईल.

MPSC Exam Pattern Decision

A three-member committee of the following experts was constituted to take a decision on the basis of the statement made by the candidates regarding the paper number two (CSAT) of the State Service Pre-Examination and also to make recommendations by conducting a comprehensive study of the examination plan and syllabus of the State Service Main Examination.

राज्यसेवा पूर्व परीक्षेतील पेपर क्रमांक दोन (CSAT) संदर्भात उमेदवारांनी केलेल्या निवेदनाच्या अनुषंगाने निर्णय घेण्यासाठी, तसेच राज्यसेवा मुख्य परीक्षेची परीक्षा योजना व अभ्यासक्रम यांचा एकत्रितपणे सर्वकष अभ्यास करून शिफारशी करण्यासाठी खालील तज्ञांची त्रिसदस्यीय समिती गठीत करण्यात आली होती.

1. श्री. चंद्रकात दळवी, भा.प्र.से. (सेवानिवृत्त)- अध्यक्ष 
2.  श्री. धनंजय कमलाकर भा.पो.से. (सेवानिवृत्त अतिरिक्त पोलीस महासंचालक) – सदस्य  
3. डॉ. एस. एफ. पाटील- माजी कुलगुरु- सदस्य 4 

• वरील समितीने त्यांना नेमून दिलेल्या कामाची व्याप्ती लक्षात घेऊन त्यांचा अहवाल आयोगाला सादर करण्यात आला आहे. या अहवालाला आयोगाने मान्यता दिली आहे.
• Concerning the qualification of State Service Pre-Examination Paper No. 2 (CSAT), all concerned have been informed by the announcement of the Commission dated May 2, 2022 and this decision is being implemented from August 21, 2022 onwards.
• राज्य सेवा पूर्व परीक्षेतील पेपर क्रमांक २ (CSAT) अर्हताकारी करण्यासंदर्भात आयोगाच्या दिनांक २ मे, २०२२ रोजीच्या घोषणेद्वारे सर्व संबंधितांना अवगत करण्यात आले असून सदर निर्णयाची अंमलबजावणी दिनांक २१ ऑगस्ट, २०२२ रोजी होणाऱ्या राज्यसेवा पूर्व परीक्षा २०२२ पासून करण्यात येत आहे.

MPSC Mains New Exam Pattern

The MPSC State Service Main Examination will no longer be in MCQs form as in the past but will now be of the descriptive method.

• There are 9 Papers in the Mains exam for 1750 Marks.
• Paper 1 and Paper 2 are qualifying in nature, where only 25% marks are required.
• The MPSC Mains exam will be conducted for total 1750 marks.
• General Studies-1, General Studies-2 and General Studies-3 papers will include international, national and Maharashtra related subjects in the syllabus. The General Studies-4 paper will be on the subject of ethics, character and aptitude of the candidates.
• सामान्य अध्ययन- १, सामान्य अध्ययन- २ व सामान्य अध्ययन-३ या पेपरमध्ये आंतरराष्ट्रीय, राष्ट्रीय व महाराष्ट्राशी संबंधित विषयांचा अभ्यासक्रमात समावेश राहील. सामान्य अध्ययन-४ हा पेपर उमेदवारांची नैतिकता, चारित्र्य व योग्यता या विषयावर राहील.

MPSC Selection Process

MPSC commission has conducted the Rajyaseva exam in three phases:

1. Phase 1: MPSC Prelims Exam (400 Marks)
2. Phase 2: MPSC Mains Exam (1750 Marks)
3. Phase 3: Interview (275 Marks)

The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the Mains and Interview phase.
