The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has the authority to set the eligibility criteria for MPSC 2022 Exam. It is the only way to select the right candidates for one of the most competitive exams of Maharashtra State.  The aim of the exam, conducted by MPSC state services, is to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant State Tax Commissioner, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner/ Project Officer, Deputy Education Officer, Class Officer, Deputy Superintendent, Naib Tehsildar, and other posts.

MPSC Rajyaseva Eligibility 2022: Age Limit

According to MPSC Rajyaseva Eligibility Criteria, Every applicant has to be within the required age limit. Here is what you need to know about the aspect of the age limit for the MPSC Examination. MPSC has given certain prerequisites to claim the benefit of age relaxation or reservation as given below:

  • The candidate must have a Domicile of Maharashtra.
  • A candidate claiming the reservation of a seat must produce the category certificate from the competent authority.
  • Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation in multiple categories for the MPSC Rajyaseva Exam shall be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial.

MPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022: Educational

Candidates who are appearing for MPSC Rajyaseva Exam should have the required educational qualifications according to the MPSC Eligibility Criteria set by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. The educational qualification required for the MPSC Rajyaseva exam is as follows:

  • If you want to apply for this MPSC exam, then you must have a graduation degree in any stream from a government-recognized institute/college/university.
  • The candidate who has a Degree in Law may be given preference.
  • You must also make sure that you are fluent in Marathi, both verbal and written.
  • Candidates who are in their graduation final year can also appear for the MPSC State Service exam.

MPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022: Physical Requirement for Police

  • For male candidates: 165 cm 
  • For female candidates: 157 cm

 

MPSC Eligibility Criteria 2022 : Important Points

Apart from fulfilling the above-given eligibility conditions for MPSC Rajyaseva, you must also ensure that you fulfil the following criteria. Below, we have mentioned some of the important points.

  • Number of Attempts- The Number of Attempts for the MPSC Exam is fixed. For general candidates, the fixed number of attempts is 6 times, and OBC candidates can appear in the exam up to nine times. Whereas the SC/ST candidates can appear any number of attempts. It means there is no limitation for SC/ST Candidates to appear in the MPSC Rajyaseva Exam.
  • Marital Status - Male candidates with more than one wife living and female candidates who are married to a person already having another wife will not be eligible for the Exam unless the Governor grants an exemption.
  • Nationality - According to MPSC Eligibility Criteria, candidates should be Indian Citizens.
  • Reservation - The reservation Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Class of Maharashtra shall be admissible in accordance with the provision of the relevant Govt. Rules.

  • As per the MPSC Eligibility Criteria, every candidate has to pass the requirements mentioned below. 

    • Age Limit - 19 to 38 Years
    • Educational Qualification - Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
    • Height - As per the notification of MPSC
    • Other basic requirements.
  • Candidates must have a valid degree in bachelor's course from any recognized university from UGC. However, there is no limit or fixed marks required to be eligible. As per the MPSC Eligibility Criteria, having a valid degree is enough.

  • As per the rule of MPSC 2022 Eligibility, the age limit is 19 to 39 years for general candidates. However, the reserved category candidates will get a relaxation in age limit to fill up the application form of Maharashtra Rajyaseva. Apart from this, the physically disabled candidates can avail the of relaxation as reserve category candidates.

  • As per the rules mentioned in the MPSC Eligibility, the fixed number of attempts for general candidates is 6 times; OBC candidates can appear 9 times in the Maharashtra PSC Exam. Apart from this, SC/ST candidates have no limit to appearing in the exam. They can appear till they are eligible according to age and education qualification. 

  • Candidates who are applying for police service posts have to qualify for the physical test under MPSC Rajyaseva Eligibility. There will be some fixed physical activities that are needed to be performed.
