MPSC Combined 2022 Selection Process

The MPSC Group B exam consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in each stage. All the candidates will appear for the preliminary stage, and based on the cut-off, a handful of candidates will be called for the main examination. Only a few candidates will be called for the Interview exam. The selection process involves:

  • Preliminary exam: The prelim exam is the screening exam. This is qualifying in nature. The exam consists of 100 questions with 100 marks.
  • Mains Exam: The candidates who qualify for the preliminary exam are going to appear for the main exam.
  • Physical exam: There is a physical of 100 for the PSI candidates.
  • Interview: The PSI candidates who qualify for the physical will appear for the interview round.

What is MPSC Combined Exam?

MPSC Combined is one of the most sought-after exams in the Maharashtra state that the Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts. The exam is conducted to fill the Group B posts, viz., Police Sub Inspector (PSI), Assistant Section Officer (ASO), and State Tax Inspector (STI).
