What is IIFT Full Form?
The IIFT Full Form is Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. It is a national-level MBA Entrance Exam conducted ny NTA annually. Candidates who wish to study MBA-IB from IIFT campuses can appear for IIFT Exam. It is one of the toughest exams in India. There are 4 exam sections in this exam, which include

- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
- General Awareness and Data Interpretation

Eligibility Parameters for IIFT
candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any can apply for IIFT as graduation is compulsory to study MBA in IB course.
- You must hold 3 years of bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserve category).
- Final Year Students can also apply if they qualify for the minimum requirements.
- Both Indian and Foreign students can apply for this exam as per official IIFT Eligibility Criteria.
IIFT Test Structure
It is an online CBT-based exam. The total number of questions may vary from year to year, but the total exam duration is 2 hours with no sectional time limit. The IIFT total marks is 300, however, the marking scheme is a little different than the other exams in India. See also: IIFT Exam Pattern
- Every correct answer in VARC, QA, and DILR sections awards 3 marks and the GA section awards 1.5 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted for questions in VARC, QA, and DILR sections and 0.5 mark is deducted for questions in the GA section.
When does the IIFT Take Place?
Every year, the IIFT Exam is held in the month of December. In the months of August and September, the official exam notification is released by the conducting body, NTA. In order to apply for the IIFT Exam, candidates must first register at iift.nta.nic.in.
While filling out the IIFT application form, candidates must choose their four preferred test cities from the list. A few weeks prior to the exam date, the admit cards are accessible on the aforementioned official website.
The exam’s question and IIFT answer keys are posted online on the website a month after the exam. It’s important to note that these solutions (as well as the recorded responses) are only accessible for three days.
