Each law school that participates in the SET will create its own SLAT Merit List to conduct the final selection process. It is released after the declaration of the SLAT Results and the completion of counselling. Candidates who are selected on the merit list must complete the admission process for SLAT and enrol in classes on the scheduled start date

• Click for the SLAT Merit List link in the notification.
• A SET login portal will appear on the screen;
• Enter in with your ID and password;
• Click on the merit list link;
• The list will be downloaded in PDF format;
• Download and store the list for future use.

SLAT Merit List: Score Calculation Process

The SLAT selection procedure has been notified by the SIU. The SLAT screening procedure begins with an admission exam, followed by a personal interview round and a writing skill test. The SLAT merit list is determined by taking into account the candidates’ performance in each step of the screening process.

• SLAT scores are converted on a scale of 50
• The marks acquired by the applicants are transformed on a scale of 50 to produce the merit list.
• The entrance test is given 50% weightage on the merit list as well. The PI and WAT rounds are given the remaining 50% of the weighting.

What is After SLAT Merit List?

Candidates who have been selected for admission based on the SLAT Merit List will be requested to apply. Candidates must report to the admissions office at Symbiosis Law School and pay the semester fee. Students must begin attending classes on the given date after completing the SLAT Admissions Process.

WAT Round of SLAT

It is used to assess the candidates’ ability to write. During the SLAT WAT phase, candidates will be requested to write a short essay to demonstrate their writing ability. A total of 20 points will be awarded during the WAT round. Together with the SLAT PI round, it carries a 50% weighting in the selection process.

SLAT-PI Round

On-campus, personal interaction, or PI, takes place. To participate in the PI round, candidates must schedule a time slot. Applicants will be asked a series of questions during the PI phase to assess their personalities. In the construction of the merit list, it will be assigned a weighting of 30 points.
