The BHU BLAT exam is taken by multiple people every year for admissions into the Law programme of BHU. The Banaras Hindu University, which is also called BHU, conducts this exam. BHU BA LLB Eligibility- Educational Qualifications

Minimum Percentage Requirement

There are floor settings for minimum marks. Candidates that apply for the BHU BLAT exam must have the following percentages:

  • At least 50% and above if you are from the general category
  • 45% and above for applicants from the OBC category
  • 40% for the students who belong to the ST/SC community

BHU Law Eligibility- Age Limit

A new change has been made in the eligibility criteria of age. The Supreme Court has now removed the age bar for this course. Hence, people from all age groups can apply for the BHU BLAT exam.

  1. If you are selected to take the BHU BLAT exam, you will be asked to produce a migration certificate from the university or the institute you were part of before. This means you must produce a migration certificate from your university in case of LLB or your school if you opt for the BA LLB course.
  2. Foreign nationals are also eligible to sit for the BHU BLAT exam. However, they must also have finished graduation from any university and also come under 10+2+3 or more category.
  3. In addition, foreign nationals that wish to apply for the BHU BLAT exam must have a valid passport.
  4. There are no restrictions when it comes to the number of attempts you can take for BHU BLAT.

If you fail to adhere to any of the eligibility criteria, you will not be allowed to sit for the BHU BLAT exam.
