IIT Bhubaneswar Programs & Eligibility for GATE 2016

Dear GATE Aspirants,

The GATE Exam is an online examination conducted for admission in various postgraduate programs of Engineering, Technology and Architecture fields. The exam is conducted jointly by seven IITs and IISc, with IISc being the organising institute for the GATE 2016 Exam.

IIT Bhubaneshwar offers various M.Tech programs for GATE qualified candidates.

• Mechanical Systems Design
• Transportation Engineering
• Thermal Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate must have scored 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA, in M.Sc/B.Tech/B.E. or an equivalent degree in the relevant field.
2. The selection is proceeded on the basis of the GATE score, or a written test/interview, or both.

Important Dates:

Last date for request for change in the choice of examination city – 20^th November, 2015

Admit card available for download and printing – 17^th December, 2015

Online examination (9:00 am to 12 noon and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Saturday & Sunday) – 30^thJanuary, 2016 to 7^th February, 2016

Result declaration – 19^th March, 2016
