IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam 2020: Exam Centre Guidelines

  1. Students are required to wear a mask during the examination. 
  2. Students are allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), gloves & a simple pen inside the exam centre
  3. An aspirant must have installed Arogya Setu app on their smartphone and the app must show the COVID 19 risk profile of the student.
  4. At the exam centre, the registration of the candidates will be done with photo capture.
  5. In the exam hall, there will be two separate dropbox for the rough sheets and call letters. Students are required to drop these in the designated boxes.

This section was scoring for most of the candidates. The level of the questions was easy as well as less time-consuming. There were more puzzles and seating arrangement questions as compared to other topics. We are here sharing the topic-wise breakup of this section –

1.Puzzles and Seating Arrangement -3 sets

  • Number of Questions asked: 15
  • Level of questions: Easy 
  • Scheduling puzzle-Month based, 7 people were given.
  • Circular seating arrangement, 7 people facing the center.
  • Floor based puzzle, 6 people three floors and two flats were given.

2. Syllogism-4

  • Number of Questions asked: 4
  • Topic level: Easy
  • All the questions were doable.
  • Questions were based on Only / Only a few

3. Alphanumeric series - 5+3

  • Number of Questions asked: 8
  • Topic level: Easy
  • Five questions were based on number series. Each number is of three digits.
  • Other series were based on letter number type series.

4. Blood Relation-3

  • Number of questions asked: 3
  • Questions were easy to attempt.
  • Simple questions were asked.
  • Based on the family tree

5.Inequality- 4

  • Number of questions asked: 4
  • Questions asked were easy and doable.
  • Standard type, one statement two conclusions.

6. Miscellaneous-5

  • The level was easy.
  • Word forward and backward question, based on CHILDREN.
  • A meaningful word question
  • Odd one out based question
  • A number based question in which arranged a digit in ascending order from left to right and then find the third digit from right end.

The level of this section was Moderate as reported by most of the students. This section was a bit time-consuming.

1. Data Interpretation -10

  • Number of Questions asked: 10 (2 set)
  • Topic level: Easy
  • There were two sets of DI asked in the exam. One was tabular Based and other was based on Bar Graph. 
  • In tabular DI the table consists of three columns and three rows.

2. Wrong Number Series -5

  • Number of Questions asked: 5
  • Topic level: Easy 
  • Number series was a scoring topic in this section.
  • All the questions were doable.

3. Miscellaneous Questions (Arithmetic) -12

  • Number of Questions asked: 12
  • Topic level: Easy
  • Questions in this segment were asked from various arithmetic problems like Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Partnership, Speed, time & distance, Percentages, Age-based problems, etc.

4. Simplification
